BBQ Marinade

This marinade has been in the Hillfarm family for years, and remains one of our all-time favourite Summer recipes.

2 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp orange juice
3 tbsp Hillfarm honey
1 garlic clove, crushed
1 tsp English or Dijon mustard
1 tbsp Hillfarm rapeseed oil


  1. Combine all ingredients in a large bowl to make the marinade
  2. Add your choice of meat to the mixture (we like to use boned pork slices) and marinate for 2 hours at room temperature or overnight in the fridge.
  3. Remove meat from the marinade and cook thoroughly on the BBQ.
  4. After cooking, cut the meat into cubes, sprinkle with sesame seeds and serve with a generous helping of summer salad and one of our delicious salad dressings. 

Tip: If you choose to cook with chicken, poach it before marinating to avoid dry, charcoaled meat.
