Hillfarm granola

To get your day off to the right start, this nutrient-packed granola is the ideal morning pick-me-up. Not too sweet but full of naturally delicious flavours, we like to serve this granola for breakfast with milk or natural yogurt and fresh fruit.

  • 4 tablespoons hillfarm cold pressed rapeseed oil
  • 6 tablespoons hillfarm runny honey
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1/2 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 350g jumbo oats
  • 175g mixed seeds (we use sunflower, pumpkin and rapeseed or linseed)
  • 100g flaked almonds
  • 100g coconut flakes
  • 200g dried fruit (we use cranberries , chopped apricots and sultanas)


  1. Preheat the oven to 150°C (gas mark 2).
  2. Line two baking trays with non-stick baking paper.
  3. Mix the oil, honey, maple syrup and vanilla together, then stir in the oats, seeds and nuts.
  4. Tip onto the baking trays and cook for 15 minutes or until lightly browned.
  5. Lower the oven temperature to 130°C. Stir the mixture, scatter the coconut flakes on top and return to the oven for 10 mins, turning halfway through.
  6. Remove from the oven and leave to cool.
  7. Break up any large clusters and stir in the fruit.
  8. Store in an airtight container.
