Smoked Salmon Wrapped Asparagus

A simple yet indulgent dish, perfect as a starter or to enjoy with a glass of bubbly.

1 pack of sliced smoked salmon
1 bunch of locally-grown asparagus
2 tablespoons of Hillfarm rapeseed oil
Freshly ground salt and pepper.


  1. Preheat oven to 200°C.
  2. Prepare the asparagus by snapping off the ends where the stem naturally breaks. Discard the short ends (we like to use them for compost).
  3. Wrap a slice of smoked salmon around each asparagus stem, and lay onto a lightly greased baking tray.
  4. Season with salt and pepper and drizzle with Hillfarm rapeseed oil.
  5. Roast in the oven for 10 minutes.
  6. Serve with Hillfarm garlic mayonnaise or farmhouse mayonnaise as a delicious dip.
