Hillfarm was recognised for its carbon reduction measures and were awarded gold status by the Environment Agency and Suffolk County Council for significantly reducing our carbon emissions.

Bees and other pollinators are essential to our ecosystem, and we’ve taken real action to protect them. In 2014, we made the bold decision to ban the use of neonicotinoids in our seed treatments, years before the UK government introduced restrictions. Our commitment to saving the bees was recognized in 2016 by Friends of the Earth, a moment we’re incredibly proud of.

Today, our farm is a haven for pollinators, with wildflower margins and diverse habitats providing food and shelter all year round. We’ve also introduced our own beehives, helping to support local bee populations while producing delicious Hillfarm honey, which you can buy alongside our oils.
