We're a British company through-and-through, from the Hillfarm family, to our delicious rapeseed oil. To celebrate our proud heritage, we've decided to release a collection with only the best of British oils: The British Icon Bundle! With deliciously infused oils, our classic extra-virgin rapeseed oil, and some exciting extras, you can enjoy cooking and creating with truly British ingredients.

Our British Heritage

The Fairs family have farmed in Suffolk since 1967. In 2004 they became the first farm in the UK to grow, press and bottle their own cold pressed rapeseed oil. Hillfarm cold-pressed rapeseed oil is a natural choice for anyone looking for a fully traceable, sustainable British oil, as everything is grown on that same farm, making our oil truly British.

The Fairs family have also continued to own Hillfarm through to this day, making it a true family business with three generations working together. From the moment Sam and Clare first experimented with cold-pressing their rapeseed and bottling the naturally healthy oil, making a success of their idea has involved the whole family. Today, a close-knit team also supports the family to produce their oil and expand their reach, all run right here in Britain.

Why British is Best

Unlike mass-produced oils, our rapeseed is grown, harvested, and cold-pressed right here on our farm. No shortcuts, no unnecessary processing or use of chemicals, it’s just pure, natural oil with a high smoke point and a delicate, nutty flavour. 

We’re proud to be part of a new generation of farmers and food producers putting British-grown ingredients at the heart of modern kitchens. Our rapeseed oil is grown without the need for imports, reducing food miles and supporting a more sustainable food system. Hillfarm was recognised for its carbon reduction measures and were awarded gold status by the Environment Agency and Suffolk County Council for significantly reducing our carbon emissions.
