Chargrilled Tuna with Tomato, Coriander and Lime Salsa

Ingredients

  • 4 x 180g thick-cut tuna steaks
  • 1 tbsp rapeseed oil
  • 4 ripe tomatoes
  • ½ red onion, finely chopped
  • Handful of fresh coriander, roughly chopped
  • 3 tbsp rapeseed oil
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • Sea salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • Lime wedges, to garnish

A quick, fresh, delicious, and healthy meal perfect for any occasion.

Instructions:

  1. Quarter, deseed, and dice tomatoes. Combine with onion and coriander. Mix with oil and lime juice. Season generously with salt and pepper. Set aside to develop flavour (ideally for at least an hour).

  2. Heat a ridged griddle pan until smoking hot. Brush tuna steaks with oil, season well, and sear for 1 minute each side (rare) or 1½ minutes (medium).

  3. Serve tuna steaks with salsa, garnished with lime wedges.
